Linking to Other Websites
When using the Site, you may be directed to content on other websites. Flood Law cannot guarantee that the external sites we link to are completely accurate or that they apply to every situation.

State Laws and Licensing
Flood Law attorneys are licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and other states as identified on our Site. The laws of each State are different. The Site contains information about general or common rules that apply in some states. You cannot assume that the same rules apply, or that the same result would occur, in your state or any particular state.
The Statute of Limitations is especially important. Every state has laws called the “statute of limitations” which set a deadline to file a lawsuit. Because investigation and research is needed to identify all possible defendants and theories of recovery, if you have an accident or injury, you should consult a lawyer as soon as possible.
Miscellaneous
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of Michigan without regard to conflicts of laws principles. By using this Site, you hereby agree that any and all disputes regarding these Terms will be subject to the courts located in Michigan. You agree that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this platform and/or these terms, will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
On certain areas of our Site, you may be given the ability to provide us with personally identifiable information. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information about our information collection and use practices.
The failure of Flood Law to comply with these Terms because of an act of God, war, fire, riot, terrorism, earthquake, actions of federal, state or local governmental authorities or for any other reason beyond the reasonable control of Flood Law, shall not be deemed a breach of these Terms.
If Flood Law fails to act with respect to your breach or anyone else’s breach on any occasion, Flood Law is not waiving its right to act with respect to future or similar breaches.
If any provision of these Terms is unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms of use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Flood Law regarding the use of the Site.
By using the Site, you represent that you are capable of entering into a binding agreement, and that you agree to be bound by these Terms.
