Nurse's alleged prior sexual assaults not reported to police, licensing board

November 17, 2025 ~ Employees at a Livonia mental health facility where a nurse allegedly sexually assaulted at least two patients in 2020 and 2021 knew about the assaults but never reported them to police or the state's licensing board, according to a 2021 police report.

Flood Law files against Sinai-Grace Hospital in Nurse Sex Assault Case - October 1, 2025

Oct 1st, 2025 - Flood Law has filed a civil lawsuit against DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital and its corporate parent, Tenet Healthcare, on behalf of a woman who was sexually assaulted by former nurse Wilfredo Figueroa Berrios while she was receiving treatment. The suit details how Figueroa Berrios—who has been a licensed nurse since 2012 and is already facing multiple criminal charges—violated the trust of patients by repeatedly assaulting Flood’s client during her care.
