Trial attorney David Champine focuses on representing survivors of sexual assault and abuse, bringing more than a decade of prosecutorial and courtroom experience to complex and sensitive cases.
A Career Built in Prosecution
David began his legal career at Flood Law before joining the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in 2015. There, he focused on prosecuting cases involving criminal sexual conduct and human trafficking.
This work required a detailed understanding of trauma-informed advocacy, complex investigations, and the legal strategies necessary to build strong cases involving vulnerable victims.
From 2021 to 2025, David served with the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, where he expanded his practice to include domestic violence cases and child physical abuse matters
These roles further strengthened his ability to handle high-stakes criminal cases involving sensitive facts and serious allegations.
