Oct 1st, 2025 - Flood Law has filed a civil lawsuit against DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital and its corporate parent, Tenet Healthcare, on behalf of a woman who was sexually assaulted by former nurse Wilfredo Figueroa Berrios while she was receiving treatment. The suit details how Figueroa Berrios—who has been a licensed nurse since 2012 and is already facing multiple criminal charges—violated the trust of patients by repeatedly assaulting Flood’s client during her care. DMC and Tenet Healthcare failed in their duty to protect vulnerable individuals by hiring and retaining Berrios.
